POLO-OWWA (PCG-Jeddah) joined with FILCOM's free training program in Windows 8 Basic Computer Interface with MsOffice Basics (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).
FILCOM has been offering the said free training program since the organization's inception in 2013. In August 10, 2015, Mr. Amelito S. Adel, OWWA Welfare Officer and one of his staff, met with FILCOM officers to finalize the plan and future partnership programs.
Further, Mr. Adel has been a resource person during the 4th FILCOM Training Commencement Program last September 4, 2015. He reintroduced OWWA's programs and benefits to OFWs and welcomed the partnership they entered with FILCOM.
The partnership of POLO-OWWA (PCG-Jeddah) to FILCOM's long-time running Free Training Program has yet to be finalized and be put into paper as of this post.
FILCOM has a MOA in its partnership with National Institute of Information Technology, Baguio City.
Due to the number of participants, the free training was grouped into two (2) class periods of there (3) hours each. FILCOM training started in September 18, 2015.
